Verifying Your Microsoft Jet Service Pack

To find out which version of Microsoft Jet Engine is currently installed on your system:

1. Open Windows Explorer
2. Do a search for msjet*.dll
3. You should find a file named msjet40.dll
4. Right click on this file and select Properties
5. Click on the Version tab in the window that opens

You should have version 4.0.6218.0 or greater (Jet Engine 4 Service Pack 6 or better).

If you do not have the proper Jet Engine Service Pack, click here to download and install the latest Service Pack from Microsoft.
